At Wandina, we have multi-tiered intervention in place. For Tier 2 and 3, we run MultiLit (evidence-based intervention program) three times a week to support struggling readers and improve literacy skills. It focuses on intensive, structured instruction in areas such as phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension, tailored to individual needs. Reading Academy is also offered as another intervention program. For Tier 1, teachers respond to diverse learning needs with additional guidance, scaffolding or instruction using evidence-based instructional practices delivered to all students in classrooms.
